Gritty. Resourceful. Passionate.

Hi, I'm Leandro. I enjoy coding and building stuff. I can say I specialize in Front-End development / Javascript and I'm working hard towards becoming a really good Full-stack Developer.

I've worked with multiple technologies(libraries, frameworks, etc.) at work but I always try to find time to learn and understand the fundamentals. These tools/technologies solves a lot of problems and can increase the speed of development but they come and go, while the concepts stay. I think investing time on learning the fundamentals benefits me long term.

Let's create something special (with link to contact me)

Nov(2016) - Present

I have been in Web Development for more than 2 years(since November 2016). I have worked full-time and project-based for individuals, local companies and international companies(EverThread, Resultmaps, system Solutions).

Some of the works I did were:

  • Contributed to the development of accounting softwares.
  • Created css library to build simple print-ready web forms.
  • Created web pages based on images / psd files.
  • Fixed an existing website's faulty responsive design.
  • Created components using plain Javascript for frequently used App features.
  • Created responsive web pages for client's needs(with and without a framework).
  • Mainly tasked to do bulk of the front-end jobs (Not an expert in aesthetics though).
  • A lot of Javascript-related tasks.

Assisted customers with their queries and problems by phone and chat. My tenure with the company improved my communication and people skills which is vital in any profession. I was able to excel in a job I was not comfortable with at the beginning and the process I went through has made me a better person / professional.

I've worked with Funguy Studio as a Professional Game Developer from April(2012) to June(2013). Tasks includes:

In July of 2013, I had to come home and I left my work away from home. I ventured into Indie game development and joined other programmers, artists, and educators to bring together our skills to create cool stuff like games. My role was to do the programming in C# using Unity game engine.
